I often look at the way we eat now and the way we ate when I was a child and am shocked at the changes. It is thought normal to drink fizzy, sugar filled, chemical based drinks throughout the day instead of water. We eat processed packaged foods more and more, rather than cooking with fresh produce. It is thought normal to "cook" porridge, baked potatoes, scrambled eggs etc etc in the microwave, leaving very little nutrition in the food and then pay out for supplements to replace what is now missing and call this healthy. To me it is no wonder we are becoming sicker and more unhealthy as a nation. My challenge to anyone who wants to try is: Go 2 weeks only eating natural foods This includes: Meat Poultry Fish Eggs Goats/sheeps dairy Fruit Vegetables Nuts Seeds Coconut/rapeseed/olive oil Water Herbal teas It does not include: Processed Fast food Flavoured drinks Grains (this includes breads, pastas and cereals) Tea/coffee Anything with an ingredients label Give it a try and see how you feel at the end of 2 weeks. If you feel better than when you started try carrying it on for the month and see the changes:) Let me know how you do:)
