2019 is here and it’s going to be the year for reaching your goals. I’ve seen with so many clients, that 2017 and 2018 were years for learning from hard experiences, but 2019 is the year to move you forward to where you want to be.
So this year, get rid of the Resolutions, they only last a month, if we’re being honest with ourselves. Get yourself some goals! Ask yourself:
Once you have that part figured out then write down the steps you need to take to get there, simple small steps that will eventually help you reach your goal.
If your goals are health and wellbeing related, I will be running a number of programs this year that might help you with those goals:
Choose goals that resonate with you, that truly touch your soul, that have a real worth. This way you are more likely to stick with it and achieve them. Whatever you do, do it with compassion for yourself and others, as the serenity prayer says: Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference Wishing you all a truly magical 2019!! Each year, as we get nearer to Christmas day, we start to over-indulge, and it builds momentum right up to the day. Then we spend the whole of January berating ourselves and making promises to be better this year.
The thing is, it doesn't really matter what we do every now and again(in general), it only really makes a difference when we do it regularly. This applies to most things in life, it is the consistency that gets the results. So this Christmas, enjoy yourself, join in with the fun, I know I will be, but remember it all depends on how much you have and for how long you keep having it, how much of an affect it will have on you! Here's a few tips to reign it in over the Christmas and still have a great time:
