Reiki is an extremely gentle, yet very powerful, form of healing. It is a hands-on healing art that helps to restore balance and harmony within the mind and body.

At our Castlebar Reiki Level 1 Workshops you will learn to become familiar with energy and begin to trust your instincts. You will experience the amazing feeling of being able to help yourself by clearing blocks and healing your own emotions that may be preventing you from moving

Reiki treatments are very relaxing and are totally non-invasive. Most treatments last for about an hour and the person being treated remains fully clothed and lies in a comfortable position while the practitioner works.

Who Can Learn Reiki?
Anyone is the simple answer. It is an ability with in all of us that is unlocked with your attunement.

There are no prerequisites for being attuned to Reiki Level 1. It is suitable for everyone, and everyone is welcome to learn this wonderful healing art. A Reiki First Degree, or Level 1 workshop / course is the ideal introduction to Reiki.

Reiki Level 1 Course / Workshop

Your participation in a Reiki Level 1 workshop will be the first step in changing your life forever. The course is run over two days and during the workshop you will introduced to the Reiki which will greatly increase the energy flow through your system. The background and history of Reiki is taught. You will also learn how to give yourself a Reiki treatment and how to treat others. There will be comprehensive training and there will ample time for hands-on practise during the class. You will also learn ways to use Reiki for your own personal self-development.

Reiki Level 1 Course / Workshop - Day 1 & 2

This Reiki Level I course is certificated. 

• Professionally printed Reiki manual is included. 
• Entry requirements: No prior knowledge or experience of Reiki is required. 
• The course consists of the following syllabus:
• Reiki - What Reiki is and the style of Reiki we teach
• The core philosophy of Reiki - Mikao Usui's belief system on which his Reiki is based
• Scientific explanation of Reiki - How external energy works to promote healing at a cellular level
• Reiki initiation Attunements Denju / Reiju Empowerments 
• 21 day Cleansing Process - What this actually means and how it may affect you
• History of Reiki - The history of Mikao Usuia nd his development of his Reiki Ryoho
• Reiki Lineage - A valid lineage starting with Mikao Usui is essential for the Reiki Council verification process and CNHC registration

Level II Reiki
This is your next step on your Reiki Journey  Where you will learn to hone your Reiki skills, Learn and be attuned to the Reiki symbols and strengthen your Reiki ability.

Reiki Level II Course / Workshop - Day 1 & 2
This Reiki Level 2 course is certificated and allows you to practice Reiki professionally.

• Must have completed Reiki Level 1 course 
• The course consists of the following syllabus : 
• Reiki Lineage - A valid lineage starting with Mikao Usui is essential for the Reiki Council verification process 
• Reiki ideals (Usui Sensei/ Mrs Takata)- Learn the Reiki recepts developed by Mikao Usui
• Laws - Learn how to comply with the legal requirements for a Reiki Practitioner
• Professionalism and treating clients with regards to National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Reiki - You will learn how to work with clients using best practice as defined by NOS for Reiki. This includes yourself, family and friends.
• How to join a Reiki Association and get insurance
• Interview form / Treatment form - How to complete appropriate paperwork and keep records
• Treating Clinical Illnesses - How to approach treating clients that have clinical illnesses and injuries
• Working Holistically to maximise the healing effect of the treatment - How to treat the presenting illness/injury and any underlying causes using Reiki and intention/visualisation
• Empowering the client to take responsibility for their recovery and health - Helping the client to take ownership of their condition and give them tools to help themselves to recover
• Case Study  - We go through an example looking at how to research the condition and develop a treatment protocol that includes the client taking action to help themselves
• Working as a Reiki practitioner and setting up a practice - Advice on becoming self-employed and setting up a practice
• Getting a website - Free and paid options to create your own website
• Search Engine Optimisation techniques - Methods used to optimise web pages for search engine ranking
• The key concepts of Reiki - The Shirushi (Reiki symbols), their Jumon and Kotodama - How to use the Shirushi and their corresponding Jumon and Kotodama to connect to and channel Reiki energy to ensure you never use your own energy and are using the appropriate energy for the condition treated
• Passive Reiki healing or Active Reiki healing - The difference between Western (passive) and Japanese (active) healing to maximise the effects of the energy for healing purposes
• Giving Reiki treatments - How to give effective Reiki treatments
• Practice hands on Reiki - Give and receive a treatment and we discuss experiences and go through any questions that arise
• Practice distant Reiki healing - Give a distant treatment and we discuss experiences and go through any questions that arise

Reiki Master Teacher Course

A Reiki Master Teacher Course is for Reiki Practitioners who would like to begin the final stages of their spiritual journey towards 'completeness.' This Reiki Master Teacher Course helps you to discover an incredibly elevated level of understanding of the Universe and your place in the Universe. On this Reiki course you will learn how to become a proficient, ethical and universally aware Reiki Master Teacher who can very competently teach Reiki courses to others (if you choose to do so). If you do not want to teach Reiki, this Reiki course is still a wonderful move towards much greater enlightenment and enhanced healing abilities. 

There is one attunement on this Reiki course, which greatly enhances your intuitive and healing skills and commences the final phase of your journey towards oneness with the Universe and everything in the Universe. Japanese Reiki techniques are incorporated, such as: Reiju, Hado Kokyu Ho, Hado Meisho Ho and Jiko Joka Ho. 

By the end of this Reiki course you will have achieved even greater awareness, stronger healing abilities and you will be able to teach professional, high quality Reiki courses as a responsible and knowledgeable Reiki teacher. We provide the student with a CD containing all our manuals and certificates to use when teaching Reiki.
