Cold sore help:)
Cold sore are a form of the heroes simplex virus. They usually come out when you are run down, stressed or your immune system is low.
There are several ways to reduce the number of outbreak and their severity.
1- reduce stress or at lest deal with the stress you are facing(talk, meditate, yoga, walk in nature, remove yourself from the situation, etc etc)
2- increase lysine foods(amino acid) - lean meat, dairy(milk, yoghurt, cheese), eggs etc)
3- reduce arginine foods(amino acid) nuts, seeds, whole grains, chocolate etc.
4- reduce intake of acidic tasting foods
5- increase foods that boost the immune system- onion, garlic, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, Brussels etc
6- high dose vitamin C daily
7- echinacea tincture if you feel run down.
8- dab the following on the cold sore if it is present- tea tree oil, lemon balm oil, lavender oil, at John wort oil, salt, chamomile tincture. Use any of the above 3x day while cold sore is present.
9- Aloe Vera lip balm. Used daily over 3 months can help to suppress the virus.
10- drink chamomile tea.
Cholesterol is a liver issue that affects the arteries and heart.
Treat it as a liver issue.
The liver processes cholesterol, if the liver is functioning properly it should be able to regulate your cholesterol.
Eat good fats, bitter foods, plenty of vegetables and whole grains, whole foods.
Certain foods like garlic and oats and many more can help to increase your good cholesterol and lower your bad cholesterol.
Use natural foods to balance your system.
Plant sterols come from plants so eat plants(vegetables, herbs and fruit) to lower cholesterol.
