I see more and more people with skin issues.
As a naturopath I see this as a symptom and will naturally look for the root cause.
The majority of skin problems I see are hormone related. It is important not to just try to balance the hormones but yet again look for the root cause. Why are the hormones unbalanced? Is it diet, poor digestion, poor bowel function, decreased liver vitality etc, etc? When you expose the root cause you are far more likely to succeed in finding an answer.
Cleansing, detoxing, skin brushing, bitter herbs and foods, increasing water intake and excluding offending foods are all helpful.
Everyone is individual so you should be treated individually.
