Many people like bananas, but very few think about what are the benefits to our bodies when we eat them.
They are best known for their high potassium content. This helps our circulatory system, oxygenating the blood, improving oxygen to the brain, reducing risk of stroke and reducing the risk of high blood pressure. And there's more:) This yellow fruit is also high in tryptophan. This is an element that makes you feel happy. They are high in a number of other nutrients like vitamin B6, phosphorus, vitamin A and iron. Bananas help certain forms of constipation. They can help reduce the symptoms of restless leg syndrome and a twitching eyes. They are mucous forming so this means they can help with the symptom of an acid stomach, but the other side of this would be not to eat too many if you suffer from a condition of excess mucous like sinus issues. You can also use the skin to rub on mosquito bites to soothe the irritation:) So, who fancies a banana?
