I’ve had so many people tell me they have been praying for me, lighting candles, sending me positive vibes and healing thoughts. It has been truly humbling.
For this week’s article I thought I’d give you an update on my Cancer Journey. It’s funny how we look at things from different perspectives, I read a post lately from a fellow metastatic breast cancer patient that got very annoyed when someone called it a cancer journey, because she saw it as a battle, a fight on a daily basis. For me that sounds exhausting and something you are likely to come out of worse of and tired at the end of. I prefer to think of it as my cancer journey, I’m learning so much through this, about myself, others, my ability to heal and about cancer itself. Like a journey I fully intend to arrive at a nice destination by the end.
So my updated results are:
I won’t lie, I’ve been tired the last few months, but my body is working extremely hard to fight this disease and the treatments can wear you out.
I’m continuing to use my own natural remedies, nutrition, juices, wheatgrass, medicinal mushrooms, CBD, herbs etc, (My oncologist knows I am using natural medicines alongside and between myself and my fellow Herbalists and Naturopaths we have researched and tailored to my needs).
Keep your good thoughts and prayers coming, everything is having a miraculous effect and I’ll beat this yet.
Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart
