JUICING FOR HEALTH
There are so many health benefits for juicing.
Alkalize your body - With our modern diets, way of living, stress etc we are making our body's very acidic. This can contribute to illnesses such as cancers, inflammatory diseases, migraines and more. Juicing can alkalize your body if done correctly.
Increase your energy - The nutrients in fresh juices will give your body what it needs to function as it should. If your energy is low, that is not "normal", it is a sign that your body is out of balance. Increasing your nutrient intake with juices will help to rebalance your system
Weight issues - a leading cause of weight gain is nutrient deficiency. Our diet's are high in calories, carbohydrates, processed foods but very low in nutrients. The body is a very clever machine and when it does not get what it needs it will hold onto what you put in until it reaches it's needs. This can lead to the body holding onto what it should let go of, and lead to weight gain. Hence juicing will boost the nutrients and allow the body to let go of what it does not need.
Cuts cravings - cravings are your body's way of letting you know you are lacking in certain nutrients. Again juices will boost your nutrient intake.
Some simple rules - always use more vegetables than fruit in your juice
always use a lemon or lime
in winter use ginger/cayenne/cinnamon to warm up your juices
add spirulina/wheat grass for an even more alkalizing effect
