Cholesterol is a liver issue that affects the arteries and heart. Treat it as a liver issue. The liver processes cholesterol, if the liver is functioning properly it should be able to regulate your cholesterol. Eat good fats, bitter foods, plenty of vegetables and whole grains, whole foods. Certain foods like garlic and oats and many more can help to increase your good cholesterol and lower your bad cholesterol. Use natural foods to balance your system. Plant sterols come from plants so eat plants(vegetables, herbs and fruit) to lower cholesterol.
