This summer I seemed to be plagued with flies and wasps. I try to encourage them to leave my house but they can be very stubborn, and as soon as one is gone another appears.
I’m definitely for encouraging the population of insects , bee’s etc that are all a natural part of our ecology system but I’m not so keen on getting food poisoning, so I started looking into natural ways to get rid of the flies in my house, now only the ones who come into my house un-invited, as flies and food don’t make a good combination. I looked at many different recipes for natural fly killer but this is my favourite one by far, it works and has a pleasant smell in your house. Ingredients ½ cup Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) 2 tsp sugar a few drops of washing up liquid Method Combine all the ingredients and place into a wide neck container – a jar, small bowl, ramekin. Leave in the area where the flies congregate, change every few days – 1 week depending on how many flies you catch. The flies are attracted to the ACV and the sugar and the washing up liquid traps them. Of all the methods I have used this seems to work best. I try to use natural substances where I can in my home. The less I can expose myself to chemicals the better. If you have any natural methods you use for jobs around the house that you swear by contact carina with them by email.
