Lots of people are confused about what they should eat and how much.
For general health I suggest using your hand to determine your portion size, you always have it with you:). The other thing to remember is to eat a whole food diet. The recent horse meat scandal should be a lesson to all of us. If you cannot identify the ingredients of your food by looking at it, chances are there are things in there that you would not think of. Keep to a whole food diet, using fresh produce. Think of the way your grandparents used to eat and try to copy that. The main thing is to keep things simple, we don't need to over complicate it:)
